Yes. I have a blog now: [link]

I figure it looks more professional than sending potential employers to DA. Spread it around. That is, if any of you actually read the journals I post. Probably not.

That looks great Alex and I agree, sending potential clients to DA isn't a great idea. It's not that DA doesn't appear professional, it's that DA is FULL of artists for your clients to pick -over- you. The last thing you want to do is expose a client to a bunch of skilled kids who will work for peanuts.

well I wouldn't say that a blog looks more professional than DA... though I admit DA doesn't have the best reputation...
To be really professional you should make some portfolio site for yourself, or maybe a Behance account...

Thanks for linking that video, I've always wondered where that song came from. Dude sounds like Mickey Mouse. Blog's looking good, nice selection of work on there.

Thanks Zack. I've had that song stuck in my brain case for days now. Gonna upload more to the blog once I get my scanner hooked up. If you see any pieces you think should be on the blog that aren't, recommendations are appreciated.

My main problem with sending potential employers to DA is having them read all the moronic comments I receive. Thanks for recommending Behance. I will indeed create one now.

you're welcome. Good luck!

Indeed. Might be part of the reason I rarely hear back from them. Except for the craigslist people. Who it would appear only want to shaft me as hard as they can for as little money as possible.
